My sister and I are officially moved out of Sunset village apartments.I liked the place. It was my first apartment on my own four years ago, and it was the apartment I crashed at when I kicked myself out of the house I was living in, and the person I was with.
I slept on a couch for nine months and then on a floor for two weeks when we had to throw the furniture away because of bedbugs.
I used to walk alone at night around the rolling unique neighborhood the buildings are nestled in.
I was able to help my sister get her first certification. We had a lot of fun living together, and I'm lucky to have a best friend in my sister.
This was where my relationship with Lisa unexpectantly started. I held her hand sometimes when she slept on the couch when I was on the floor. I hope it doesn't end there also. I can't help but try to make this one ready for her also.
Now the keys are turned in, and the last of the remnants of what Bek and I lived on are absorbed into our new homes.
I've moved a few block away, to Tunde's house, Bek to an apartment in Grand Blanc.
I need to make the best of this new home, and of my life. I now live where my drums are, and I can drum anytime I want within reason. I have internet access in my room, and I can watch DVD's and listen the the music I've been missing.
I know what I want out of life. For the first time, I'm really certain, and moving in here is the first step in working towards it.
I'm really, really lucky, to know what I want.
